Have you heard the news?

Love Island Is Dumping Fast Fashion & This Is Why It Matters!
Love it or hate it, you can’t get away from it…..Love Island is back and for the first time, the islanders will be wearing second-hand clothes. The company eBay is now the show's first-ever pre-loved fashion partner!

At FGF, we feel this will be a game changer with switching buying habits from fast to preloved fashion. Love Island has become a huge success within the world of fashion & online fashion grew by more than a tenth whilst the reality show ran last summer.

Pre-loved clothing’s popularity has grown, with 20% of Brits saying they buy more second-hand fashion compared to two years ago on average. Brits reckon 16% of their wardrobes are made up of pre-loved items and here at FGF that is music to our ears.

Love Island can play a big part with influencing shopping habits….At-home viewers often look for replicates of their favourite islanders outfits. Last year's winner Millie proved this and became one of the highest trendsetters, wearing items such as a marble dress, causing a spike in online searches to above 125%

We hope to see the nation inspired and take the pre-loved approach towards fashion up to a whole new level!
